Donate to the Washburn Cultural Center

Donations are a significant source of revenue for the Cultural Center, helping us with the cost of preserving our historic building and keeping our first- and third-floor galleries and our third-floor workshop and meeting area “open for business.”

Our beautiful historic building is a gift to the people of Washburn and the Chequamegon Bay area, and we value your generous assistance in helping to maintain it. Through your support, we are able to make this unique space available for monthly exhibits of area and regional artists, arts- and culture-focused workshops and programs, community-centered classes and information sessions, civic get-togethers, and receptions.

Donations are available at multiple levels. If you like to make an Honorary or Memorial Donation for a beloved friend or family member, or if you would like your donation to go to a specific purpose, please indicate your preference when you click the button above.

By making a recurring annual gift to the Washburn Cultural Center, you help to ensure that this grand old building is available to all and that Washburn’s rich history continues to be preserved for generations to come.

Washburn Cultural Center’s “Wish List” for 2024

The Washburn Cultural Center has two main goals for fundraising in 2024:

1. Improve safety and accessibility by:

  • Replacing the back door to accommodate an automatic door opener,

  • Replacing the front steps, which are deteriorating and will need replacement for safety.

2. Support the WCC mission to foster the cultural, artistic, and historical life of Washburn and the surrounding area by improving WCC’s visibility and integration in the community with signage, programming and lighting improvements to the gallery space.
